Jingling Bells of Appreciation: Do Good Door County’s Yuletide Thanks

by Cynthia Germain

As we hope for a white Christmas and enjoy the festive lights throughout the beautiful landscape of Door County, there’s a warmth that extends beyond the winter chill. This season, Do Good Door County is not just celebrating the magic of Christmas but is also taking a moment to express heartfelt gratitude to the incredible community that has made our mission a reality.

At the core of Do Good Door County’s success is the unwavering support of the community. This Christmas, as we reflect on the year gone by, we are overwhelmed with gratitude for the countless individuals who have not only believed in our mission but are actively working on making a positive impact on aging here. We thank everyone who has come along with us throughout the year and look forward to expanding the ranks of allies in the coming year.

We also want to extend a special thanks to our grantors, whose generosity has been instrumental in driving our initiatives forward. Their belief in our projects has empowered us to expand our efforts across the county. We will be sharing more about the impact of these funds in 2024.

And as joyful sounds of holiday favorites echo through Door County, we celebrate those who have opened their hearts and wallets to support our cause. Your donations have not only contributed to our efforts but brought to life the music of positive change. We are excited to roll out programs and initiatives next year that help older adults in the county age with ease.

To everyone who attended our community meetings, fundraisers, and events – thank you. Your presence has not only made these occasions remarkable but has also fostered a sense of togetherness that continues to strengthen our community.

Behind the scenes, the dedicated individuals on our board have been the “twinkling lights” of Do Good Door County. This Christmas, we express our deepest gratitude for their wisdom and commitment. Their leadership has been the driving force behind our achievements, and we look forward to another year of making a positive impact under their guidance.

So as we look for just a sprinkling of white for the holiday, we at Do Good Door County are filled with a sense of warmth that goes beyond the crackling fireplace. This Christmas, we want to extend our heartfelt thanks to the community, grantors, donors, community partners, and our exceptional board. Your collective support has been the greatest gift.

We’ll be taking a break from the blog for the holidays. We look forward sharing more in the coming year. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year from all of us at Do Good Door County!
